I'm pleased to announce that the rights to four of my novels have been bought for publication by Baijia Publishing in China. They are, WHO IS FRANCES RAIN?, THE WARNINGS, THE DARK GARDEN and MY MOTHER'S GHOST.

THE FINDER won The McNally Robinson Book for Young People Award at the Manitoba Literary Awards on Saturday, April 23, 2005.

The Finder is now available in paperback in the USA. Online, try Amazon, Barnes and Noble and other bookstores!

THE SEEKER was chosen for VOYA'S 18th Annual List of the Best In Science Fiction and Fantasy for the Young Adult Reader for 2003 This list "features books for the very young teen and also reaches out to the older teen with books that challenge and inspire."

THE SEEKER was nominated for The 2003 McNally Robinson for Young People Award.

THE SEEKER was also chosen by the New York Public Library for their 74TH ANNUAL BOOKS FOR THE TEEN AGE, 2003.

Just to let you know THE WARNINGS has a new "old" face. Kids Can press has gone back to the original cover. That's when the book was called THE GUARDIAN CIRCLE. Still titled THE WARNINGS, I think it looks great. Check it out under "books".

THE WATCHER GETS A NEW LOOK. The new cover for THE WATCHER is now available in bookstores.

The Canadian Bestseller, THE WATCHER, the first novel in The Watcher's Quest Series was nominated for The Young Adult Canadian Book Award, The McNally Robinson Book for Young People Award, The Independent Publishers Award and was chosen as a New York Public Library Best Book for the Teen Age, among other honours.

ANGELS TURN THEIR BACKS and WHO IS FRANCES RAIN? are now published in Norway by Stabenfeldt publishers.

Stabenfeldt publishers now hold world rights for THE WARNINGS in the German, Norwegian and Swedish languages and will be publishing them in their book clubs.
